Every year Independence Day coincides with the birthday of the rockstar, Saint Dr. MSG. This year being his 50th birth anniversary, this day was celebrated in the form week-long celebrations in the presence of crores of fans. Dr. MSG is one of the greatest admirers of our Indian culture and always takes every possible effort to bring back our culture and heritage into the lives of people. And this year, a multi cultural carnival was organized, to showcase our diverse culture and traditions and the evenings were dedicated towards thought provoking and inspiring skits and dances, Sufi musical performances, traditional folk dances, dare devil stunts, stand up comic acts all rolled into one, mega cultural fest ‘MSG9bar9 Carnival.’ Stalls of different states of India graced the carnival, showcasing their native flavor in terms of cuisines, handicrafts, folk dances etc.
All in all it was a mini India, set up for all to savor. Along with this, the carnival also had a display of the exquisite cars designed by Saint Dr. MSG himself. The evening shows concluded by a session of Dr. MSG’s singing was icing on the cake for all. A massive 5100 kg cake was cut in the presence of over 1.5 crore fans, making it a one of a kind experience for all.
During these celebrations, Dr. MSG also launched the much-awaited autobiography in the form of a beautiful pen drive.
The first look poster of MSG Online Gurukul, was released during these grand celebrations. The poster, showcasing Dr. MSG as a Kul Guru, is quite refreshing & took the fans heart away. An interesting motion poster was also launched here, and got more that 1 million views in just 24 hours.
Dr. MSG will be seen playing 6 main roles and a total of 10 roles, in this upcoming flick. Based on our ancient Vedas, MSG Online Gurukul is a unique theme depicting the scientific knowledge & advancements back then.
MSG Online Gurukul is directed by Dr. MSG and co-directed by Honeypreet Insan and Kittu Saluja. The film may hit theatres by year-end.
